After Midas asked loud and clear for some tuna treats this morning, he ran through the house, up and down the stairs, pointing out it’s HIS day!

And now he celebrates World Animal day sleeping on a new rag quilt which I made from all sorts of fabrics that most likely would never have been used for another project. He covers his eyes with his paws cause he doesn’t like the flashlight.

What a wonderful quilter you are. I’m not and I love seeing other peoples’ handiwork. Hello to Midas from my old Lilac Point Sebastian.

Ah, that’s probably why our hamster was grumpy yesterday – we didn’t realise it was World Animal Day!

Great pictures of Midas — cats always do find the most comfortable spots and a nice new rag quilt is a great one!
