leaving comments at blogspot blogs

Dear fellow bloggers/friends.

I love when it’s made as easy as possible for us visitors to leave comments on your blog. I understand the verification code stuff, but lots of blogspot bloggers have set their comment page to ‘Full Size’.

When your visitors want to leave a comment they get a full size window and can’t see your blog(post) anymore. I often want to read something again or see how a word used in a post is spelled. Then I have to leave the comment page and go back to the blogpost page. By doing so I loose the words I’ve typed in your comment box and I’ve to start all over again.

Did you know you can change your comment page to a ‘pop-up window’ or to ‘enclosed to your post’ (or whatever it’s called in English – my blogspot blog is in Dutch). It makes leaving a comment so much easier. While writing a comment, visitors can still see your post. I hope this makes any sense to you?!

I’m familiar with this, because my former blog was a blogspot one. So please, change your comment settings to a pop-up window or enclosed to your post. You can change it in the settings and then go to comments, it’s the third question… placement of comment form or something like that. You might end up with a lot of comments more… LOL!

If you have any questions about this, please let me know!

The SSCS package for my partner was shipped yesterday. I hope it arrives well. It has a long, very long way to travel!!

Nicolette

i would find it hard to resist so i don’t blame you for getting your husband to hide it. it’s worth the wait though – i always like opening presents on christmas day – or christmas eve as we do it :)

oh mine comes up with a full page but if you click on the upper left side about the first comment there is a hyperlink “show original post” and it will expand to give you all the writing from the post your commenting on………….try it and let me know what you think…………..
